Reading - Silas the Streacher Bearer

This week we were reading about Silas,he went to war and survived it.I learn't in the story that silas is the narrorters granfather. I enjoyed reading this book because I got to learn about the war.

What I learned

This week in reading,I learned that not only did Sir Ednmund Hillary climb Mt Everest,he built schools and he jet boated.I also learned a new word and that is porter.That means someone that carries things like bags at a motel or in a hospital they push the wheelchairs or beds.
