Summer Learning Journey (Week 1 - Day 4 - Activity 1

For this activity we had to watch a video about Serena & Venus Williams.Then write down 3 things you learnt and 1 thing you still want to know Three things I learnt: In 2005 Venus won Wimbledon,The longest Womens final in history.     Hi Marnie

    Both Venus and Serena are great tennis players in their own rights. They really have both had amazing careers. The money that they both have made from not only playing tennis but also from all the sponsorship deals is pretty incredible.

    Serena is currently playing tennis in Auckland as part of the ASB classic. I watched her play in the doubles last night with Caroline Wozniacki. They won their game. She plays her first singles game tonight!

    How about you, do you like to play tennis?
    I like to give it a go although I am not very good at it. But it is lots of fun trying!!

    I hope that you are having a great time with you holidays and are doing lots of fun things.
