Summer Learning Journey (Week 1 - Day 3 - Activity 1)

For this activity we had to imagine we were a superhero for the day and we could pick three superpowers have.

My three superpowers would be:

 1.Telekinesis because then if you are in a rush you could just use your telekinesis to get the things you need in a quicker way.

2.Super Speed or Teleportation because you can get to places faster.

 3.Super Strength because you can pick heavy things up easily.

For this activity we had to write a recount about a time you or someone else were brave. I am going to wtite about Ross Clarke Jones who was almost killed while surfing.

Ross Clarke Jones was having a normal day surfing when a huge wave knocked him and his friend Mick out.They had to swim as fast as they could to escape the wave.Both of them almost drowned but they escaped just in time.

 Ross appeared in Australian Survivor Season 6 (which is the 2019 one),he was evacuated from the game on day 28,when he suffered a huge freak accident,which caused him a broken foot/ankle.

 I have chosen the SPCA, They SPCA helps all animals even birds.

 1.Fruit because its healthy and because I will only be there for three weeks it won't rot

This is my maze I made on scratch,I was not sure how to do it so I got some help from my friends.It was hard to make make the lines small enough.Once you have made it to the end the sprit does nothing.If you touch the red you will go back to the start.

Stepping up - Maths

This Week for maths,our Figure it out maths is called Stepping up.I worked with Maya and Kaycee.We worked out a range of questions.Some of the questions were hard to work out,but I used my maths book to figure it out.

Westgold Butter

Last week I got a suprise when Mrs King announced that I was one of the winners for the Westgold Butter. Earlier this year,Ruma Kereru students had to come up with a design,for the Westgold butter.It had to be a West coast Christmas theme.I did the hokitika gorge with santa on the swingbridge.

What I learned

This week in reading,I learned that not only did Sir Ednmund Hillary climb Mt Everest,he built schools and he jet boated.I also learned a new word and that is porter.That means someone that carries things like bags at a motel or in a hospital they push the wheelchairs or beds.

How I think I Achieved My Goals

I think I have acheived my goals because I got my writing finished and earn't 2 hapu points during writing.I have shown a lot of respect over the year so far.I can easly go off and write 2 paragrahs.

First Day at school 2019

I went to Karamea in the holidays with my nana and grandad,my aunty and uncle lives there.We left at 7:00 at night,we go there at 10:00.When we got there we upacked and then I went to bed because I was very tired when I woke up I had my breakfast and got ready.I went outside to see Bruce (Dog) Tyson(Deer) Joplin(Chicken) and the LLamms.I did nothing else that day apart from swimming in  their big pool.That night we went to my aunty's friends house for tea.She is crafty so she let me make some clay critters with clay.The next day we did nothing much but from going out for tea.I also went swimming
