Dear Mum and Dad My trip to Tundra was amazing It was really cold,colder than winter in new zealand. I wore heaps of jackets and scarfs to keep me warm.I would go back to Tundra because I thought that it was so great,you can explore heaps of forests in Tundra. From Marnie

I don't think logging should be allowed in NZ. It is not fair on animals that have made homes there.Also it is ruining our nature.

My hotel would be in a forest. I would use wood and logs.It would be a grat place to stay.

One of my favourite foods is tuna on crackers. First you get you crackers and tuna then,grab a spoon and using the spoon put tuna on the crackers.Thats how you make tuna on crackers.

The wwf is working to save freshwater seals,so the don't die. The wwf is helping the fresh water seals by making snow banks

The good things about being a DOC ranger is that you get to live with animals if you live on the great barrier island. Also that you get to see animals alot. last thing,is that you get to look after animals alot. The bad things about being a DOC ranger is that you smell animals alot.Also is that sometiome you even wast you time looking after animals last thing is that some animals that you can hold can bite you.

First fact about New zealand is that NZ's Moari name is Aotearoa.which is a very cool name.Aoterearoa is a beatiful place. Second fact is that there are 3 islands of New Zealand.North island,South island and stewart island.I have never been to the north island or stewart island. Third fact is that Nz is between 50 and 80 million years old.WOW that is alot of people.I wonder how much trees would be is nz

In Class we have been learning the power of,at first I struggled with it, but now I now what it is ,If you see a number with another number at the top corner that means the power of.For example I had 6 and ther was a 2 in the corner I would times 6 two times 6x6=12. Self Portrait

The best images to use on our posts are ones we have created ourselves or our own photos. We have been using Google Drawing to create our own and have learnt how to use new tools to make a self portrait. We took a selfie and had to make sure we had our head and shoulders in the picture before we fitted it to the page. Next we used the polyline tool to draw around our face because it is the only line tool that you can colour in. This was tricky because the polyline kept stopping. Next we had to match our skin colour and then we went into the custom tool so we could make our fill transparent. We did this so we can learn how to use google draw tools We used the magnifying tool to draw our eyes,eyebrows and lips I’m happy with the way my Eyes looks on my self portrait because The look like real eyes I will have to work on drawing my lips Thank you for reading my blog post. Fudge making

Mrs Byrne came to our class today she is a professional chef we made fudge. You need: a can of condesened milk,Chocalate chipes,Vannila esence. We made 3 bowls of fudge.I didn't want a taste because chocalate makes me thirsty.

Add the Condesned milk then the Chocalate chips after that add the vanilla esenence.Mix then put it in the microwave.Then the fridge.

30 April 2018 In the holidays I was in the show Treasure Island with Rose,Amelia and Aaliyah.I played the character Nasty Phil I was a mean nasty pirate,but I did not have a speaking role,Treasure Island is a musical it has songs in between Acts.There were 4 acts. Each show was sold out.The shows were,Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday.Our director was Sally Richardson ,The stage manager was Sue Asplin.My favourite part of the show was meeting new kids and performing on stage.

Tuesday 27th of February Year 4,5,6 done swimming sports it was a lot of fun in the first half I did not swim but in the second half I did.I was in five races: Half a length Backstroke, a length freestyle, a length breastroke and half a length breastroke.I came 1st in Backstroke and half a length Breastroke.I enjoyed it.Thank You parents for time keeping it would not have been a race without you and I big thanks to Mr Martin and Mrs Phelps for being the best teachers ever.
